Harry Choo Choo Romero Ministry of Sound Sessions

Ministry of Sound caps off its ‘Sessions’ series in 2007 with a mix from New Jersey’s Harry ‘Choo Choo’ Romero.

Together with Erick Morillo and Jose Nunez, Romero is one of the brains behind long-running house stable Subliminal Records, but he’s also a capable DJ. He regularly spins at the label’s Subliminal Sessions nights around the globe and has mixed several volumes of the label’s same-named compilation series.

Next up, Romero adds another ‘Sessions’ mix to his bow with a double CD for MoS that includes cuts by Steve Angello, Henrik B, Armand Van Helden, D Ramirez, Audion, Shinedoe and Shlomi Aber as well as several Romero rerubs such as his remix of Erick Morillo and P.Diddy’s collaboration ‘My World’.

Amazon Mp3Amazon Launches Public Beta of Amazon MP3

Amazon MP3 Debuts With Over 2 Million Songs

Amazon.com has launched a public beta of Amazon MP3, a new digital music download store with a large selection of individual DRM-free MP3 music downloads. Amazon MP3 has over 2 million songs from more than 180,000 artists represented by over 20,000 major and independent labels.

Every song and album on Amazon MP3 is available only in the MP3 format without digital rights management (DRM) software. This means that Amazon MP3 customers are free to enjoy their music downloads using any hardware device, including PCs, Macs, iPods, Zunes, Zens, iPhones, RAZRs, and BlackBerrys, and any other personal media device that accepts the MP3 format. MP3 tracks are encoded at 256 kbps which is fairly high quality and decent file size, but we would have liked to have seen it at 320kbps to really show that they are focusing on CD quality sound.
