Research in Motion (R.I.M.), the company that brought us the BlackBerry, has been on a roll lately. For a couple of years now, it’s delivered a series of gorgeous, functional, supremely reliable smartphones that, to this day, outsell even the much-adored iPhone.

Here’s a great example of the intelligence that drives R.I.M.: The phones all have simple, memorable, logical names instead of incomprehensible model numbers. We’re not going to beat around the bush with this review…Matt Darey simply kills it with his 104th edition of In the Mix! He warms you up with a new track on Armin Van Buuren’s label called “Still Time” and gets into a track that would perfectly suite MTV called “Stereo and Video” by D Fuse and Scumfrog. BUT….following is a track that jumps out at you in a way few do… it’s a killer remix of Andy Caldwell and Lisa Shaw’s “Warrior”! Jaw dropping, hair rising and stands above the rest this track just gets you where it counts.

To allow our Canadian artists to get a little bit more of a buzz going we have extended the contest for Canada’s Best DJ to December 8, 2008. Please spread the love and vote for your favorite Canadian DJ’s so we can finally give them some recognition for all of their hard work.
