DJ Seta has been burning our weekly most listened to chart for over a year now and his mixes have definitely struck a chord with members of TheFreshpage. Celebrating over 115,000 plays on the site Seta has released his latest featured mix entitled “100,000+”!
In this mix his signature sound is felt right away with Nicola Fasano’s “Crazy Brazil Street” followed by a progressive mix of “We Made You”. This get a little circuit with Nari & Milani’s “Disco Nuff” getting your juices flowing nicely and just in time for a banging track called “Your Freedom” by Spit. This is the moment when people ask, “who is this dj” and Seta doesn’t give you any relief as “Reach for the Stars” is nothing but gold. Old school flavour rings loud with “Saturday” leading up all the way through with a killer remix of one of the best tracks to his this summer…”Let the Feelings Go” by Anna Grace. The final three tracks take you on a journey where you can’t guess the next turn…just the way we like it!
Exceptional music by an exceptional DJ, Seta rips it up with his “100,000” mix and you’re only left wanting more….
Muti Music is excited to announce a new signing of a very accomplished producer, Triplet Of Belville (T.O.B) . Afterlifes New Album Electrosensitive OUT NOW! House Music
‘Electrosensitive’ is soul, psychedelic, dub, jazz, Latin, disco, house and a little bit electronic. It’s a fine collection of quality laidback songs and grooves. Afterlife, aka Steve Miller is a well renowned artist in his field. He’s is no newbie; this is his 4th artist album and it’s worth noting that one of his albums, ‘Simplicity’ sold out in a week. Steve has cemented himself as one of the world’s leading electronic ‘chillout’ producers and DJs and has had more tracks than anyone else on the classic ‘Café Del Mar’ series. His music has astoundingly featured on over 500 other compilations.
If you were to ask people what their perception of his sound was, they would say it was ‘warm, blissful, lush, melancholic, uplifting and soulful’. It would be true to say this is an accurate description of this, his newest work. Featuring collaborations with the likes of Sharon Musgrave (lead vocalist on the classic Bassomatic track ‘Fascinating Rhythm’) on ‘Fantasy’, Juanita Grande on the Parisian dubby tune ‘Far Away’, and fellow chillout DJ and producer Chris Coco on the bluegrass tech house ‘National Dobro’, all in all this is a perfect eclectic album by Afterlife.
Electrosensitive is an album that you would be as happy to play at home to ease you into your day, or play in the intimacy of an exclusive hilltop villa as the accompaniment to that perfect poolside moment.

Groove Cruise Miami 2009 Video Clip:
Currently entering its fifth week, thousands of fans have signed up to let their voice be heard loud and clear across the nation. Over ninety DJs have registered to date, while two highly talented artists out of Miami won the first two weeks: Leonardo Del Toro week one, and KARBOKANE week two. Week three champion was NYC’s Andrew Salsano, while Vancouver’s breakbeat artist G3N3R4L took the honors in week four.
“Time After Time” starts the mix with a funked out beat that has something extremely hypnotic about it and will for sure be a timeless classic. The following tracks “Hozho” and “Let the Sun Shine” carry the beats in a completely unique matter…but then…then…DJ Disciple’s “RedLight” takes control of your body and soul in completely devious manner and all you can do is just let go!!!
This is brilliantly mixed into a D.O.N.S. remix of “Let The Feelings Go” somewhat of an irony considering all you want is to not let go of these two consecutive tracks. “Autumn Leaves” comes to early though and its soft 80’s touch leaves something to be uncovered that you may have not noticed before.
A couple tracks later “To Forever” is one of Deadmau5’s best works as the haunting vocals of Rachael Starr hint that the best in electronic music is here and now. Wooh…”This is Your Life” pulls your heartstrings right down to the core the way only music can do, and to follow with “Violins” what can we say?!
The final tracks? “You Make Me Feel” and “Not Alone” encompass a sound few dj’s will ever get, but it’s no sweat for Chris Wren, this is SUMMER LOVE 2009 II.
