Just released: David Guetta - Tomorrow Can Wait featuring Chris Willis vs Tocadisco

View the video here:

David Guetta and Chris Willis put together another slamming track with Tocadisco by the name of Tomorrow Can Wait. This one is going to be a hit in every major club around the world so watch out! You’ll find the vocals of Chris Willis familiar because of their last track which one both “Best Electro Track” and “Best House Track” at the IDMA’s (International Dance Music Awards) for Love is Gone. And of course, the beat is signature of David Guetta’s sound so it will be interesting to see how this track does on the dance charts. What do you think? Do you like it or been there done that?

Sasha New Emission of Light and Sound DVD

Have you heard about the Surf DVD called New Emissions of Light and Sound featuring an original soundtrack by DJ Sasha? All I can say is wow! This is one DVD unlike anything you’ve ever seen before (which raises the question, “has there ever been another surfing movie which featured electronic music?”). Here is a glimpse of this incredible accomplishment with a trailer of New Emissions of Light and Sound featuring Sasha’s soundtrack: Read the rest of this entry »

Check out the awesome SCI-FI inspired video for “Satellite” from Static Revenger presents “Love Song Surprise”

Static Revenger Satellite Video

Video pays homage to classic sci-fi films including “2001 - A Space Odyssey,” “Tron,” “Contact,” “Barbarella: Queen of the Galaxy” and “Star Wars”. Quite an awesome video from producer/DJ/multi-instrumentalist Dennis White (AKA Static Revenger) in support of “Satellite,” a track culled from the new CD “Static Revenger Presents Love Song Surprise.”

Here is the video clip Read the rest of this entry »

Daft Punk

If you’re into electronic music (that’s why you’re here, right?), you’ve probably heard of Daft Punk (Daft Punk recently won the Best Group award at the International Dance Music Awards - Read article here). If not, you’ve probably just heard their songs without knowing the men behind the music – I doubt that there are many of you who have never heard the irresistible hook of “One More Time.” Hopefully you’ve seen at least one of their music videos though (Daft Punk Music Videos), because Daft Punk definitely pushes the boundaries in their videos as much as they do in their music. Creativity is not a problem for these two guys.

So what’s so special about Daft Punk’s music videos? Read the rest of this entry »

Just released Janet Jackson’s Rock with You music video, the 2nd killer track from her latest album Discipline. Hot hot hot! Blending the original 80’s flavour of the track with an electornic touch, this track is extremely suitable for being re-mixed to ROCK dance floors. Check it out:

P.S. Bryan Reyes remix of Janet Jackson’s Rock With You we had mentioned yesterday has been removed from myspace. A total shame because it was an awesome circuit remix of this track

DVNO by Justice is one of the coolest music videos we’ve seen in a while! But then again coming from the Parisian group Justice it should be no surprise considering the fact that they seem to be one innovation after another. DVNO comes to life with logos from the 80’s done up with rich colours and 3D animations, quite intelligent! In fact, this is one you’ll want to have playing in the background on your tv or computer monitor. Take a look:

Janet Jackson Feedback Video

Janet Jackson continues to dominate with her smash single ‘Feedback‘ from her highly anticipated album DISCIPLINE (read below for more info on her new album.), due in stores February 26. And now she has released the music video for Feedback which is quite out of this world once again. Mixing electronic rhythms and powerful dance moves this girl can rock it every single time. All we need is for her to do next is another tour, because trust us on this one, you will be blown away. Few artists in this world can sing and dance like her, and every song has a completely different theme (our favourite was the colourful neon mushrooms and circus freaks on stage for her song Escapade).

Mark Farina is currently completing his Live In Tokyo CD Release tour across North America (with a few destinations left shown below). His recent stop in Vancouver at the Commodore was quite a success selling out far before midnight of the event. This is quite an accomplishment for Vancouver as the Commodore holds close to 1100 people and being so close after New Years and on a Friday night usually means not enough people get off their butts to go party.

Nevertheless, the promotion company Nordic Trax has been well known in Vancouver for bringing in the right dj’s and collecting an incredible crowd to party it up the way it was meant to be…with no attitude and a chance to really dance to house music. Here is a short video clip we took of the night which gives you a glimpse into some of the magic that was happening (please excuse the blurriness at the end we just got a new Sony camera and are just getting used to its recording capabilities in dark environments with no additional lighting.).

So packed venue, and Mark Farina did his best, he really pumped out the deep west coast house he is so well known for around the world. He represented his OM Records label proudly for the CD release of Live in Tokyo (please see full review here). Happy beats with happy people all around you, this was a night which really showcased the best of Vancouver for an international dj/artist.
