sony dsc w300 review

Sony DSC W300 Digital Camera Review
Gadget Reviews

Rarely have we had the chance to review a digital camera, but since so many of us are getting out and partying with our camera’s it only made sense to do a review where you can capture your memories for life. Let’s get right into why we recommend this camera…

The Sony W300 we had on test was finished in an attractive gun metal grey. The dark grey suits it to a tee and makes it look very stylish and classy indeed. The all metal body feels very durable and strong. All controls have a positive, confidence-inspiring feel to them and their lay-out is logical and intuitive. Although the Cyber-shot W300 is really compact it is quite a sturdy camera, and you will certainly notice it if you carry it in your trouser pocket. Not to such an extent that people will start wondering if you are glad to see them or if that is a camera in your pocket, but its weight surely makes its presence felt. samsung p2 mp3 player

Samsung P2 MP3 Player Review
Gadget Reviews

Samsung’s P2 is their flagship MP3/PMP device with many features, starring the full screen touch interface. Bluetooth also plays a supporting role in the feature set, giving the player the ability to connect to wireless headphones and to your mobile phone (in future updates).

The near-buttonless design comes together very nicely with a solid build quality common to Samsung’s portable devices. Wrapped inside this player is a well thought out interface that most people will be able to just pick up and use. Despite a few complaints, the P2 is definitely something to consider even though it commands a higher price than similar capacity MP3 players. Read the rest of this entry »

blackberry storm review

Blackberry Storm Review
Gadget Reviews

Research in Motion (R.I.M.), the company that brought us the BlackBerry, has been on a roll lately. For a couple of years now, it’s delivered a series of gorgeous, functional, supremely reliable smartphones that, to this day, outsell even the much-adored iPhone.

Here’s a great example of the intelligence that drives R.I.M.: The phones all have simple, memorable, logical names instead of incomprehensible model numbers. There’s the BlackBerry Pearl (with a translucent trackball). The BlackBerry Flip (with a folding design). The BlackBerry Bold (with a stunning design and faux-leather back). Microsoft Zune Review 8GB

It’s time for some healthy competition to challenge the ipod market, and this is where the Microsoft Zune comes into play. Sony Ericsson w880i

In our search for the perfect mp3 cell phone we came across the Sony Ericsson w880i. So what makes it so appealing?

For us the biggest thing was the slim width – at only 9.5mm thick this is the perfect phone walkman to take to the gym loaded with your favorite mp3s from TheFreshpage (join our Premium mp3 Membership here).

In addition the Sony Ericsson w880i comes with a 1GB card that can store numerous hours of music, and a 2 MegaPixel camera with built-in picture blogging ability.

Although it does not have WLAN built in, it is equipped with lightning fast 3G. This equates to very quick browsing of web pages which is a big advantage over many other leading cell phones including the slow Apple iphone.

With a high quality 320×240 video player (perfect for youtube), built-in bluetooth and 6.5 hours of talk-time – this phone is sure to be a big hit for this holiday season.
