Electro House Mix – The Freshcast Feb 2010
Electro House Music

If variation is key to being a successful DJ then Chris Wren is one of the most successful djs on this planet…with his Februray 2010 Freshcast mix Chris introduces a little old school and brings in the new school with “Whoomp!” and Seamus Haji mix of “My Destiny”.

With a transverse array of beats you’re going to hear angelic vocals of “2 Spirits” to dirty electro “Alcoholic” of John Dahlback. This is the way we like it…a little schizo, a little out of the ordinary, a little 80’s with bootleg mixes of “Tom’s Diner” & “Flash, Dance, Shout” you really don’t know what to expect next.

In fact the only thing consistent with Chris Wren is his ability to mix things up and provide stellar mixes time after time…

electro house music in da house

In Da House by DJ Seta
Electro House Music

Hold on tight you are ready for a ride on a freaky deaky rollercoaster with DJ Seta ripping it up electro house style “In Da House”!

This is a pure electro mix featuring the likes of Steve Aoki, Chuckie & LMFAO, Black Eyed Peas and Axwell and around each corner is a little surprise full of dirty synth and pumping basslines that’s definitely not meant for the weak-hearted. We particularly like the Bart B More Remix of Crookers Kellis “No Security”, this will shake up any dance floor and only mad house padding would keep the walls from falling cause “Play with It” by Breakdown is only going to make it crazier!

Enjoy this mix and even though it’s only February it’ll make

Electro House Mix – Freak Me F**ing Good by DJ Dinsy
Electro House Music

We welcome a new superstar electro house music DJ to TheFreshpage – a bad ass by the name of DJ Dinsy! This guy is going to freak you good with this stellar mix Freak Me F**ing Good. It’s just too good to not perk up and pay attention.

Let’s “Get Nasty” with the premiere track’s chunky electro beats with no delay to the “U Freak Me” edit by Dinsy himself. And prepare yourself for some heavy bass in Orlando Voorn’s Deamau5 remix of Paco Di Bangos World. There is no “Monkey Business” here as DJ Dan is back in the scene with this stellar track shaking things up and making way to Timbaland vs Nirvana “Smells Like Morning After Dark”.

We have to say this is what we like most about DJ Dinsy, he has no fear of getting too dirty, or too dark and then turning night into day like his back to back tracks of The Prodigy “Invaders Must Die” and Kristine W’s “The Power of Music”. And this is how the the conclusion of this set leaves to your senses – a feeling that light shining through all the peaks and valleys of the melodies in this set. We can’t wait to hear more!

electro house music the freshcast 2010

Electro House Mix – The Freshcast 2010
Electro House Music

Right from the beginning of this mix Chris Wren grabs you in only ways music can invigorate your senses. As you shake your head and try and understand what is happening to you, the track “Poptimistic” makes your muscles convulse with pure determination leading away to “Sometimes I Feel” where the hair on the back of your head stands up straight and flows with the music.

But before you drift away in some state of trance a funky beat “I’m The Sh*t” wakes you out of your stupor only long enough to lead you to “Go” somewhere you haven’t gone before.

Pure love is all you will feel through the remainder of this set with “I Like It”, “Naked” & “Come Get My Lovin” the progression is pure and all you will see is “Fireworks” in the end! Chris Wren’s TheFreshcast 2010 is here.

Electro House Music M-Erson Moving It Mix

Movin’ It Mix by M-Erson
Electro House Music

M-Erson re-ignites your auditory senses with his latest “Movin It Mix” featuring some of the best in underground electro house beats. Starting with Crooker’s “No Security” the music progresses from 0 to 60 like a Mclaren revving its engine through a race track. Beats get dirty with the Outhere Brothers’ “Enjoy” & Mustard Pimp’s “Cherry”.

But we like it this set because it only gets harder and takes corners with fast speeds not allowing you to guess what’s next but simply enjoying the ride. Half way through Foamo’s “Movin It” highlights the title of the mix with synths that would make a old school raver squeal out loud! And if you thought that was it you ain’t heard nothing yet, The Steve Aoki remix of “Forever” and Sebastian Leger track “The Rhythm” takes you for a pretty wild spin.

We like the final part of “Movin It Mix” because M-Erson smooths out all the bumps and ends with some pretty sick tracks. This is the way it should be done….all bow down to M-Erson….

The Freshcast Chris Wren live in Buenos Aires
Electro House Music

As Chris Wren tours from SF to Buenos Aries his music is able to bring smiles and delight to electro house music fans from all corners of the globe…and we welcome this special new set live from Argentina.

“Lonely People” introduces this 106min+ mix with a touch of class – beats that can really unite and make you feel not so alone and with “Lovely Day” hope is definitely alive. 4 tracks in and “Earth Song” featuring MJ’s vocals is truly fresh and truly reminiscent. This is when you’ll really notice the momentum building with D. Ramirez’ “Downpipe” grooving a special drum.

A rhythmical masterpiece of pure subtlety rocks you with Cevin Fisher and Paul Harris’ “Losing My Mind” leading way to the omniscient vocals of “You Can Be The One”. And if you can believe it we’re only half way in!

Other golden nuggets are spread coarsely by Chris Wren… Dr.Kucho’s “Just Good to Me”, Deadmau5’s “Ghosts ‘n Stuff”, Ian Carey’s “I Like It” and Vendetta’s “Promo” are completed with “Time of the Season”…

This is the quintessential electro house mix of Fall 2009.

electro house mix hot girls

Hot Girls by M-Erson
Electro House Music

Things get a little dirty….ok a LOT dirty with M-Erson’s latest secret electro house mix entitled “Hot Girls“. This smash-up features some bumpin remixes to start the fiasco with “Big Sunglasses” & “Juke Dat Girl” you’re in for something a little different. This is just the kind of music you can clearly envision playing at just about 4:20am in an underground club somewhere where the sun don’t shine but music is your only light.

And let’s keep following the tunnel of beats, “Disco Decay” & Sharooz’s “Get Off” don’t provide any relief, but after all you’re listening to this mix cause you want it to keep you moving even if it’s only in your mind’s eye…

The true story only gets revealed about half way in with “Hotgirls” which gets a little funky, a little chunky and it’ll only make you jump around well…like a monkey! Wow, talk about leaving something as a little surprise – the bumping beats of “Freshly Squeezed” and “Disco Records” leads to a TOTAL climax and the dénouement? Well you’ll have to listen for yourself!

This is a 2 hour special Freshcast as Chris Wren mixes it up live in San Francisco. Imagine yourself as the first track “Love” jumps out at you through the speakers at a nightclub which is just about to get really hot!

“Special” continues the energy with a circuit style heart-beat pumping sound leading nicely into “That Feeling”. A little later “California’s Dream” bumps the floor and makes way for some minimal dirty beats right up to a killer remix of “Need Your Loving”.

But….nothing prepares you for the Axwell and Dirty South mix of “Temper Traps” a sound which quickly identifies with Chris Wren’s style so many all around the world are loving.

Final part of this 2hr stomper ends with grace including “Ready for the Weekend” and “Call On Me”….phew! Impressed is an understatement when it comes to The Freshcast….

electro house music mix the freshcast

The Freshcast Sept ‘09 Part II
House Music

Summer is taking it’s last breath and Chris Wren rides this last bit of heat with a music stream that has memories written all over it. “With Every Heartbeat” the stream flows in nice and smooth and brings a tear to your eye with “What Have I Done” when your brain starts reminiscing about all the fun times you’ve had the past several months.

You realize that music that touches you at such an emotional level is definitely something special to cherish and tracks like “Finally 2009″, “Fight For You” and “GRRRR” sets this in gold. Soft vocals entwined with electro housey progressive disco flavour is something new to your palate and definitely leaves a good after-taste behind.

What you get in the final quarter of this mix is bag is full of drums, Spanish sonnets and funked out beats ending with Kaskade’s omniscient and ever-present tune called “Beestung”….The Freshcast.
