Delycious Ice Cream Song
Delycious Ice Cream Song – Have you heard this one yet? We have a good feeling you will be hearing The Ice Cream Song in nightclubs all over the world this summer.  It’s catchy, it’s fun, it’s hot and it’s electro house infused goodness. Delycious features the Presidential Boyz giving the track a distinct twist, and a twist it is ironic in melody to the fact that Delycious was about to give up her chatoic life as a musician to work for her family’s ice cream store!   As luck would have it, a french producer by the name of Flip Flatau walks into her ice cream shop during the Miami Winter Music Conference and a magic connction is made! So here is the yummy delicious track that came about after a world of coincidences:

Booka Shade The Sun and The Neon Light

Two years removed from their last album, Movements, Booka Shade’s back. Hopefully you’ll recognize them.

With fourteen new tracks on The Sun & The Neon Light, Arno and Walter have given themselves a good hour to reintroduce themselves to the House music audience of the world. Having listened to the album a few times now, I have to say it was time well-spent. With the massive success that the last album brought them (with winners like Body Language and Mandarine Girl), Booka Shade could have stayed with the “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” philosophy, but then, they wouldn’t be Booka Shade. Lisa Shaw and Miguel Migs Petalpusher

Last night in Vancouver, Lisa Shaw and Miguel Migs came into town to bring something new (and perhaps something old) to the house music scene. Petalpusher consists of the 8 piece band with Miguel Migs on electric guitar, along with Lisa Shaw and Tim Fuller singing their hearts out. In fact, Petalpusher has been around for quite some time originating from the roots of Miguel Migs musical background, but in an era when electronic music meets live band (take Justice, Booka Shade and Trentemoller as examples) it’s time to push the scene to new levels. No longer is it enough to be a DJ who can just remix others tracks, don’t you agree that now a days the audience wants something more? Read the rest of this entry »

Miguel Migs Those Things

Miguel Migs
Those Things
Street Date: March 20th

‘Those Things’, is the highly anticipated sophomore artist album by electronic music’s soulful maestro Miguel Migs… The long awaited follow up to the internationally acclaimed `Colorful You’ (released in 2003 on Astralwerks/ Naked Music). ‘Those Things’ finds Migs meandering into the old school funk and soul side of the dance music spectrum focusing on his trademark high caliber production and tasteful quality song writing that he is best known for. Drawing inspiration from his diverse musical taste and background, Miguel serves up a tasty blend of 13 original songs featuring an all star line up of special guest vocalists, including Reggae legend Junior Reid, Sadat X from Brand Nubian Fame, Lisa Shaw, Tim Fuller, L.T. and Fred Ross from Sly and the Family Stone. The result is an album that takes you on a ride through a unique listening experience crossing the boundaries of dance music with a sound that Miguel has seamlessly blended together.

TheFreshpage.com has teamed up with OM Records to offer you the free download of the track “So Far” and a preview of all the tracks on the new album. www.thefreshpage.com/miguelmigs/
