FIFTH ANNUAL DECIBEL FESTIVAL

Founded by Sean Horton in 2003, the 5th Annual Decibel Festival will feature more than 100 acts from 12 different countries, divided into 24 showcases over four days in late September. Headlined by renowned techno producer Carl Craig, the festival proudly boasts the most diverse lineup yet - representing a wide spectrum including everything from underground dance to experimental audio/visual performances with an overall theme of sustainability in the arts. Venues for the Decibel Festival are scattered throughout the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle including: Neumos, The Triple Door, Chop Suey, Sole Repair, The Baltic Room, Lo-Fi Performance Gallery, CoB, Northwest Film Forum, Grey Gallery & Lounge, Volunteer Park and Havana’s.
Club showcases not to be missed: Dirty Dancing, bRAVE NEW WORLD, Detroit Techno: Past, Present, & Future, and of course, the grand finale! In addition to the traditional club events, the Decibel International Festival will feature multiple all-ages daytime event alternatives including: a two-day dB Conference at the Northwest Film Forum, two Optical Multimedia showcases, a BBQ at Havana’s, an outdoor event at Volunteer Park, and an Ambient Showcase at The Triple Door dinner theater. This year Decibel will be offering three types of festival passes:
All Access Pass = $175 : Access to all venues, all four days and nights (very limited).
Deluxe Pass = $125 : Access to all club events, Thursday - Sunday, and also “dB in the Park”. (This includes everything except DB Conference, Optical 1 & 2, Ambient showcase, & dB Afterhours)
Weekend Club Pass = $100 : Access to weekend evening club events, Friday through Sunday.
