Bearcraft to Release Dark Night
Electro House Music
Release Date: November 30, 2009
“Dark Night” is the bittersweet follow-up to Bearcraft’s crossover debut favourite “The Werewolf” which gained support from the likes of Steve Lamacq, Larry Tee, Chris Coco, Annie Nightingale, Tronik Youth, and many others.
Rising wunderkind Krucy Darkstar makes his debut with his stunning remix of “Dark Night” – retaining the dark emotive feel of the original and twisting it into a dancefloor destroyer.
Again, a special 12″ disco version is also provided, taking the original and subtley turning its gorgeous synths, moving bass, and haunting vocal harmonies into an elongated dubby disco masterpiece.
Listen to Dark Night by Bearcraft
It’s twilight in the woods, where nature and the imagination run wild and unbridled. This is the domain of Bearcraft.
Dicky Moore has already held great company in the international music scene after touring the UK, north America and Japan with Scritti Politti, as well as performing with that band at the 2006 Mercury Music Prize ceremony.
Bearcraft’s debut album is a fantastical, mathematical combination of electro uppers and bewitching acoustic slow-burners spinning folk yarns with an abundance of haunting melodies and the loveliest harmonies.
The album’s songs take in reference points as various as clairvoyance, altered states, barn owls, werewolves, castles, empty barns and retro physics theories
Bearcraft is performing live dates throughout 2010 – to keep up with the latest news check out http://www.myspace.com/bearcraftmusic
