Canadian DJ Deadmau5’s literally meteoric rise in the past two years has been highlighted with his collaborations with Kaskade (they are nominated in the Best Prog House/Trance Track category) and the release of Random Album Title, with singles that won him the title of Beatport’s most-selling artist in 2008. His first year on DJMag’s Best DJ Poll was spent at the #11 spot, tying for highest debut in the rankings’ history – if this isn’t breaking through, you might as well just scrap the category.

You know the cigarettes, the ones wrapped with a smack of Luscious Babe Lipstick on the filter. Matinee or Craven A, the kind I don’t mind holding, sampling; taking a haul on while she, she Moves for Me.
