VOLUME is a heavyweight two-disc anthology of songs from Paul van Dyk’s studio albums (45 RPM, Seven Ways, Out There And Back, the Grammy-nominated Reflections, In Between) and various remix productions. One disc is a mixed collection of his original works including “White Lies,” featuring the Pussycat Dolls’ Jessica Sutta, “Nothing But You” and “Time Of Our Lives” with Vega 4, whose lead singer Johnny McDaid also lends his vocals to the brand new song “Home” that was created specially for VOLUME. Also highlighted are the stellar hits “Forbidden Fruit” and “We Are Alive” plus a new mix of the van Dyk timeless classic “For An Angel.” The other disc consists of his most popular remixes of artists such as U2, Depeche Mode, New Order, Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears.
In support of VOLUME, Paul van Dyk will embark on an intense tour, appearing in 17 cities in 17 days. The VOLUME tour kicks off this Thursday (June 11) in Scottsdale, AZ and will take him to Salt Lake City,Oklahoma City, Detroit, Chicago, Nashville and Atlanta. The leg wraps June 27 with a headlining spot at the Electric Daisy Carnival in downtown Los Angeles, the two-day festival where over 100,000 people are expected. On August 26, van Dyk will return to New York City’s Rumsey Playfield in Central Park for another installment of his unforgettable summer in the city parties presented by Live Nation.
