Over one year in the making, at last Thefreshpage.com v4 is finally released. You will experience a completely different look and feel. Our goal was to make it less cluttered and much more powerful. Each page has the freshest content in electronic music related info and now you login once listen to free high quality mp3 streams and post in our forums fluidly.

P.S. thank you for your patience this last week with the username/password problems. We had made the system too complex for our own good so it was causing problems with logging in, but we ironed out all the glitches and made the username your email address so it’s easier to remember. Here are the new and exciting changes with v4!

• Edit your profile. You will notice after logging in that you can now edit your profile. Within this you will also be able to change your password, sign up for our newsletter (so you can stay on top of the latest releases and get all the goodies we will be offering) and wait for it…. you will now be able to track your bandwidth for downloading if you are a Premium Member. Speaking of Premium Members….




• All music on the site is now streamed in ultra high quality mp3 format (as good as the DJ’s have provided to us)! And now you can give our Premium download membership a trial at only $9 for one month. Please note that this is only to help us pay for our bandwidth with thousands of mixes at your finger tips we go through a ton of bandwidth…but we want to offer you the best!




• You will notice we also have a new external media player which is a pop-window so you can listen to the mixes and browse through the site at the same time. The pop-window media player also offers you other mixes of the same style for you to listen to!




• Fluid log in structure. Once you have logged in not only will you be able to stream all the music for free, but you can now help our community grow by contributing to our house music forum which is full of interesting topics and embedded videos and music clips. We value your voice, so please post in our forum!




• Events of the biggest, baddest parties around the world. Our new events section will be growing fast as we will be allowing users to add events in the very near future. Stay tuned for that! In the meantime check out the biggest new year parties happening all over the world.




• New Gadgets page. We have been asked so many times what electronic music gadgets we would recommend such as mp3 players, headphones, dj gear, speakers, and other electronic gadgets, so here it is, check out our new Gadgets page. We offer short brief and honest reviews with a link for you to get all the info you want and the ability to purchase them through our affiliates (e.g. Apple, Sony, Musician’s Friend, Dell).




• New Dance Music Videos page. Our web team has collected the best dance and electronic music videos from all over the world and put them all on our new Dance Music Videos page. Thanks to Youtube, each video plays fluidly after the next, just brilliant! Now we want this playlist on our tv’s!




• DJ’s and Artists login. If you have signed up as a DJ on our site you can now access your mixes, upload new ones and edit your profile with your latest bio images and mix graphics. After you submit your mix, our team will verify the mix (has to be in mp3 format of 128kbps or higher), prep the mix and update the site with your new set. Get ready for lots and lots of exposure as thousands take a listen every day. But if you want that extra exposure, make sure you sign up for the Platinum package which will also put you in our Featured Artist list which is exposed throughout the site, our blog, myspace page (with over 30,000 friends) and our newsletters!
