Recently we wrote about Tiesto In Search of Sunrise 7 and now Tiesto is one of the eight selected musical artists for Coca Cola’s We8 campaign. The We8 campaign brings 8 themes of gobal connection expressed through art and music. Eight graphic artists have each designed a cover for an aluminum contour bottle to go along with the songs from these artists.

Here is Coca Cola’s We8 Themes:
Global Harmony, Human Collaboration, Uplifting Moments, Individual Perseverance, Peace on Earth, Happiness, Active Optimism, and Healthy World.

The musical talent hails from different parts of the globe:Tiesto, Benny Benassi, Kaskade, Jes, Serge Devant, Lucas Prata, Cezar and Jay-J.

The graphic artist chosen to create the aluminum contour bottle for Tiesto’s Global Harmony is China’s Xiao Xue. Xiao Xue is an award-winning graphic designer from Beijing whose works are often found in Chinese publications and on Web sites specializing in design. He also has been featured in galleries abroad, including an exhibition of modern Chinese poster design in Germany.

Xue captured a silver medal at the Fifth CCII International Trademark Design Meeting, sponsored by the Capital Corporation Image Institution. He was born in Liaoning, in Northeast China.

Artist’s vision for “Global Harmony” bottle design: For Global Harmony, Xue wanted to express the idea of balance so central to Chinese philosophy. “This design communicates harmony through an imaginative form made up of different elements that coexist – black and white, soft and hard, animal and plants, old and new,” he says. “This reflects my belief that in the future we will all – people, nature, the earth – live harmoniously as one.”
