Title: Best mp3 download sites for a DJ Top 5 Sites Post by: TheFreshpage on September 01, 2007, 03:47:58 AM (http://www.thefreshpage.com/download/images/bestmp3downloadsites.jpg) (http://www.thefreshpage.com/download/bestmp3downloadsites.html) Read the full article here: Top 5 Best mp3 Download Sites (http://www.thefreshpage.com/download/bestmp3downloadsites.html) 1.Beatport. May be considered the granddaddy of the DJ Download Age. They certainly are my favourite site from which to get music, and the first place I go online to look, because they offer some benefits that are unique in the Dj download community. 2.DJ Download. It's more down-to-earth than Beatport's. There's not a lot of dandy features, but there is a lot of music. 3.Traxsource. A clear, comprehensive site laid out in a way that is very very easy to follow, with lots of good charting available to compare your likes with what the rest of the world is spinning. 4.Trackitdown. Looks like a great site, I have not yet used their services. Unlike Beatport which uses a complex flash portal and programming, this site is laid out for quick, upfront browsing. 5.iTunes. In the rights managed-world, iTunes can be a good resource, especially when you need to find a commercial/remix track. The Apple guys have been good about widening the stance of iTunes in terms of good electronica, and you'd be surprised to know that many tracks you cannot find on any of the major DJ Download sites, may be available on iTunes. David Hey Dave! That's hilarious eh? I can't wait until the Digital world takes over now. I used to try and fight it, but if they do take over... I'm going to be first in line (and online - hehehehe) to get all of those record sales!!! You do not have to fight it, just stick to what you like... I have nothing about new technologies that makes life easire but I just simply enjoy the whole vinyl and the turntable experience, I have spend in the last eight years a lot of money on Vinyl (almost 4000 records) and I do not regret it ... It would not be music and Djing for me as it is now if did that using mp3 ... And a lot of rare tunes still exist on vinyl only (www.discogs.com is very good site to buy those gems that you can not find anywhere else)...
