Seattle duo Peter Christianson and Carlos Mendoza, a.k.a. LawnChair Generals, have been shaping the future of house music out of their self-made studios since 2001. Along with their talent ** both behind the decks and in the studio ** LCG have simultaneously blazed their way into the crates, mix compilations, and ranks of the house elite.

Released October 23rd via Nordic Trax, 'Around The Block' is the long-awaited compilation of all their best tracks and legendary remixes, seamlessly mixed together by LCG themselves. For fans of funky Chicago house, LawnChair Generals tracks have appeared on mixes & charts from Ministry of Sound, Om Records, DJ Magazine and IDJ, plus house heavyweights Mark Farina, Heather, Kaskade and Derrick Carter to name only a few.

i second that...i met these guys several years ago when they were just getting some big hits out and it's great to see them succeed as much as they have.  The cool things is I keep seeing their tracks in so many playlists from dj's across many different genres!
 

haven't heard them for a while, sounds like they've slowed down their beats a bit lately though.
