After the roaring success of Nuestra Casa in T2 at Turnmills back in February, The Gallery has kindly invited us back for more madness at their new home, the Ministry of Sound, on Friday 23rd May. This time we will be tearing up the Baby Box alongside a astonishing DJ line-up in the main room and bar.

The headliner in the main room needs absolutely no introduction – it’s the original superstar DJ, Mr Paul Oakenfold! Oakey has one of the most impressive CVs in dance music, being credited as one of the first pioneers to bring the acid house sound over from Ibiza to the UK in the 1980s. But he really shot to fame in the early 1990s after championing of a new breed of dance music called Goa Trance, and creating the now legendary 1994 Essential Mix. Over the years he has also had a string of chart topping tracks and has produced and remixed for the likes of Happy Mondays, U2, Massive Attack, Arrested Development, The Cure, Snoop Doggy Dogg and New Order – and has created soundtracks for blockbuster movies like Swordfish, The Matrix Reloaded and Die Another Day. Needless to say, The Gallery are extremely excited about welcoming this living legend back to his London home!

Joining Oakey in the main room will be Hernan Cattaneo and Seb Fontaine. Hailing from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Hernan Cattaneo is a now a huge name on the world club circuit. A regular fixture in DJ Mag’s Top 10 poll, Hernan continues to support new talent with his critically acclaimed Renaissance series and regular appearances at the world’s leading festivals. Seb Fontaine has done pretty much everything there is to do in dance music - from DJing worldwide, to hosting a prime time Saturday night show on Radio 1, to running a wildly successful night in the shape of Type. We can’t wait to see what these two Gallery favourites have in store for us!

The Bar meanwhile welcomes headline action from Chris Fortier and Peace Division. With a DJ career spanning over 15 years, Chris has continually been a crowd favourite, confirmed by his very first residency at the legendary ‘Aahz’ in Orlando, through to more recent residencies in London and New York. Peace Division are a duo producing seminal anthems since 1994 and this London duo have remained firmly been at the forefront of the tribal house sound in the UK.

In the Baby Box , Nuestra Casa will bring their usual blend of underground house and dancefloor bombs from all the usual suspects. Getting the party started we have Nuestra Casa co-founder Oliver James warming you up with his blend of housey grooves and dancefloor movers. Following on from him will be Cosmique, who will kick things on with his energetic style, which makes you want to bounce up and down like a child in the 70’s on a space hopper!

Then we welcome back firm Nuestra favourites Rob Newton and Jody Carter (formerly known as Parish Beats) who will be dropping the best in deep, funky and tech house sounds. Anyone who witnessed their set at Turnmills will be sure to confirm these boys will have you moving from start to finish.

Finishing you off in the early hours of the morning are our second dynamic duo BroKen DJs. They’ll be delivering lush slabs of ‘disco-progressive’ house until you’re feet can move no more and it’s time to brave the daylight outside!
