I'm planning on being in your area this fall.
I'm from Philadelphia.
It's a bit daunting to skim posts for "where the scene" is at in Vancouver, so I'm asking YOU for your impressions and what not.

All about house right now...that's where it's at but there are a lot of good big name prog dj's coming to town too.  Digweed on the 12th is going to be hard to miss.

If you can make it out to Celebrities it is always good there and they're Tuesdays are packed.  Also, keep your eye open for special events at the Commodore or Plush.  Those are usually big shows with big talent.
