Hi everyone Im new in these forums, my name is Aaron, Im from Mexico City and I will be going for a year to work to Canada under a work and travel visa, Im a dj in Mexico, I play deep, funky, soulful ,some electro and minimal house, so I would like to ask you which of this cities( Vancouver or Toronto) has a better house music scene( nightclubs, promoters, special events, bars,etc) so I can take a decision because altouhg I will have a daytime job I would like to have the opportunity to play from then to then in some bars, or parties or anywhere!

Well from what i've heard Vancouver has a better house music scene, however it is really hard to get promoters to take you on.  Your best bet is to get your music on this site so promoters can get a feeling of what your music is like.

Vancouver definitely has a better deep and funky house environment which seems to be a major west coast thing.  Toronto is more into the harder and faster beats which cater to the younger club kids.
