Bio:

I first discovered electronic music when I was about 12 years old. I fell in love with the positivity and energy that it provided and soon it became my passion. Listening to everything I could get my hands on I soon became absorbed in the soundscapes. In June of 1995 I attended my first underground event in Roanoke, Virginia named "Evolution"... and how proper that name was because my entire life was about to literally evolve in the physical world as well as internally. I finally knew where I wanted to be. This night was the milestone of the initial realization of my being. After a few months of immersement in the scene, I decided that I wanted to be directly involved with the music. Henceforth, Dj Illusion was conceived. Florida style breaks and progressive trance were my first experiments influenced by local talents Dj Spice and Dj Friction. Breaks have become my passion and I have stayed mostly true to them, but I do tend to occasionally stray toward the progressive house and trance sound when it fits my mood. I soon began to resident Spice & Friction's 'Juice' on Wednesday nights at The Iroquois Club.

While living on the East Coast I had the pleasure of playing venues with Spice and Friction, Micro, Doran, LL Bishop, Brownie, Astral Matrix, Prime Mover, Dj Fuzz, Sk-eye, KRI, Faust, Mike Soden, and Just Jamie. I then moved to Jackson, Mississippi where I continued my spinning fueled by my passion for the music and my motivation. I played there for about three years maintaining several residencies in clubs such as The Palm Beach Club, Visions Niteclub, Polly Esthers, The Party Barn, and The Depot. In addition I was able to spin at various raves and parties having the honor of playing alongside of artists such as Rabbit In The Moon, Defcon 6, Hip-E, Dj Liquid, Reese, Dave London, Vicious Vic, and J-Luv. In 2000 I moved to New Orleans, Louisiana. Here I was able to resident a nightclub called Parkview Tavern with Dj XL and do a couple of dj competitions at Club Opulence on Bourbon Street in The French Quarter. I frequently returned to Jackson, MS to play clubs and parties.

In addition, I recruited some longtime close friends and colleagues and formed Team Inergi. We united in order to promote each other as well as individually and to provide people with a high quality of music that is in such demand in the underground scene today. Libra, Odyss-e, Ovni, M6, Tony C, and myself make up the crew. We bring the electronic genres of old school and nu skool breaks as well as progressive house and trance, and UK hard house and hard trance. I currently reside in Tampa, Florida where I hope to continue with my love for the music and for the scene, with spinning, and with music production.
