Dance Arena:

Coldcut

Where do you start with these guys? The esteemed Ninja Tune founders have over twenty years of experience and are renowned for their far-ranging music which brings together house, hiphop, jazz, breaks, beats and more from kaleidoscopic ranges, distilled into some of the most iconic tracks of recent times.

Experienced festival guests who always bring something new with them to wow the crowds, Coldcut work with a mix of music and visuals to create unique experiences each time. Catch them DJing at Forgotten Valley.

Yousef

One of the most exciting DJs around continues to push and break boundaries with his DJing, his own club, Circus, and a prolific production of cracking tunes. Technically up there with the world’s best players and able to seamlessly blend an all manner of pulsating house and techno, Yousef remains at the top of his game and is a pleasure to watch in action.

Claude Von Stroke

CVS - aka Barclay Crenshaw - is one a bundle of deck dynamite. Fusing house, techno and well, anything with a groove really, has seen him gigging at some of the best clubs around. The DirtyBird founder is suitably eclectic and comes armed with one purpose in mind – to party hard and get everyone dancing. We can’t really say fairer than that.

Ivan Smagghe

French maestro of filth-laden electronica, pulsing beats and aural beatings, Smagghe has etched a name for himself in the pantheon of darkness, having mixed CDs for Bugged Out!, headlined festivals whilst being equally at home in small intimate clubs. A great chance to catch an innovator at work.

Ralph Lawson

20:20 Vision label founder and consistently one of the best kept secrets around, Ralph also holds the honour of playing the first ever record at Back to Basics. Dependably exciting, someone to reply upon to rock gigs where ever he goes, Ralph is a great addition to Forgotten Valley and in his music there’s much to be anticipated.

Dave Beer

Back2basics founder, leader, mischief and merry maker, inspirational avante garde debauched Pied Piper of the north – Dave Beer is all of these and more. Having built B2B to one of the longest running sessions in the world, he is the catalyst behind the mayhem and pretty handy behind the decks too.

DJ Food and DK

Famed Jazz Breaks producer, DJ Food is actually a collective now, not a single person, and the DJ Food and DK collaboration has been spreading across the UK splicing all kinds of musical madness together. Their recent, “Now, Listen!” is a perfect introduction for what to expect at Forgotten Valley in May.

As well as Qemists, J Mountain & more to be announced soon!
