The first time we heard the Bose Sound Dock system was in a lobby of a posh hotel in South Beach Miami. It's smooth warm bass filled the entire lobby with high ceilings wonderfully. When we saw that this small speaker was creating that sound we understood why the price tag kind of high compared to other ipod speakers (which are always disappointing)!

Although our friends at Musician's Friends Store offer this for only $299 with an incredible 5 year warranty. This is a speaker system which can replace your huge stereo, charge your ipod, and play your music loud enough for a party in quite a large room. Plus with almost no distortion at loud volumes it makes it to be one of the best speakers you will hear hands down.

One other big plus is that it includes a remote control to control your ipod even if you're in another room! Now we like that!
