Bio: Matt Darey has pioneered the Trance sound since 1994 being a major influence on DJ’s like Oakenfold, Tiesto, Armin Van Buren, Paul Van Dyk, Above & Beyond and many more. A chameleon of sound, Matt has produced and remixed some of the pinnacle tracks and top ten chart hits to come from the scene including Li Kwan – Point Zero, Lost Tribe – Game Master, ATB – Till I Come, Binary Finary - 1998, Grace – Not Over Yet, Matt Darey - Beautiful and countless others! With Residencies in London, Sydney, Ibiza & LA Matt is respected as a leading DJ in the scene bringing a truly international flavor to his sets.

Li Kwan – Point Zero was one of the first records to be made of the new Genre that then went on to be known as Trance. Embraced by leading DJ’s at the time Pete Tong who made Matt his essential new tune twice and Paul Oakenfold who quoted that Li Kwan was in his top 5 all time fav tracks. Following on from that Matt got into the remix game and turned out numerous club hits which are listed in the discography section. Meanwhile Matt launched his new act Lost Tribe and created one of the all time club anthems Gamemaster on the legendary Hooj Choons label. Matt also went on to launch artists like Tall Paul and Agnelli & Nelson in to the top 20 for the first time with his massive A -side productions. Since 1998 he has sold well over 2 million trance singles and albums and has been responsible for some of the biggest trance remixes and productions. Matt has been headlining the massively successful Euphoria series for 6 years and most recently has released a series of club based mix albums in the USA and Australia and has embarked on his first ever album tours.

After more than a Decade in the business the man behind the Trance phenomenon is back with a new sound crossing genre’s into breaks , house and even rock. Now he continues his quest with the launch of his new label Darey Products with some stunning releases.

At the beginning of April 2006 the new format 'Nocturnal' show was launched and is now available on more than 100 stations across the globe which makes it the fastest growing syndicated dance show in the world. Now a weekly 2 hour show with the first hour from Matt bringing you some of the biggest new tunes blended together as 1 hour of continuous music mixed live from his London Studio’s. In the second hour of the show each week Matt hands over the decks to some of the biggest names in the DJ world as well as some of the rising stars from around the globe.
